Steem SSE is a new version of Steem based on that source release. It incorporates new features and emulation improvements, some of them based on the Hatari  and SainT emulators (this "emulation" goes both ways), some on various internet discussions technical documentation, like chip datasheets, and  tests on real hardware. Steem SSE aims to be the #1 STF/STE emulator. There's no limitation in the original Steem code structure (in C++) that would make that goal unreachable. 'SSE' stands for 'Steven Seagal Edition'. Steven Seagal is a well known Aikido grandmaster, action movie star, musician and playboy. It is rumoured he has a shadowy past working for some secret agencies.  

MAME's purpose is to preserve decades of software history. As electronic technology continues to rush forward, MAME prevents this important "vintage" software from being lost and forgotten. This is achieved by documenting the hardware and how it functions. The source code to MAME serves as this documentation. The fact that the software is usable serves primarily to validate the accuracy of the documentation (how else can you prove that you have recreated the hardware faithfully?). Over time, MAME (originally stood for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator) absorbed the sister-project MESS (Multi Emulator Super System), so MAME now documents a wide variety of (mostly vintage) computers, video game consoles and calculators, in addition to the arcade video games that were its initial focus.

Cemu is the first eighth generation console emulator in the world, specifically the Nintendo Wii U. The requirements are big - at least efficient Core i5 and 6 GB RAM, Nvidia graphics card or AMD with support for OpenGL 4.0 (and if possible, OpenGL 4.5), 64- Windows bit (7, 8.1 or 10). In return, we get the ability to run games smoothly even in 4K resolution (although it is better to have 1080 Ti). Also DRC (GamePad), Pro Controller and Classic Controller controllers are emulated, the keyboard and USB controllers are partially supported.

ARCADE is a continuation of the MAMEUIFX project. It is based on the latest MAME source at the time of release.

AppleWin (also known as Apple //e Emulator for Windows) is an open source software emulator. AppleWin was originally written by Mike O'Brien in 1994;[2] O'Brien himself announced an early version of the emulator in 1995, development of AppleWin passed to Oliver Schmidt and is now maintained by Tom Charlesworth. AppleWin has support for most programs that could run either on the Apple II+ or the Apple IIe. By default, AppleWin emulates the Extended Keyboard IIe (better known as the Platinum IIe) with built-in 80-column text support, 128 kilobytes of RAM, two 5¼-inch floppy disk drives, a joystick, a serial card and 65C02 CPU. SpeedVicio released another test version of the overlay MedGUI - a very convenient interface for multiemulator Mednafen , which in itself is not very friendly to setup. Reborn version of the application is completely modified compared to the normal MedGUI.

Eighty One is one of the older designs of machine emulators with Z80 on board and quite accidentally with a rainbow in the logo - he can not only pretend the construction from Sinclair ZX80, to Amstrad ZX Spectrum +3 but also familiar with Timex, or more exotic ZX81 - Ringo clones and Lambda.

Altirra is an 8-bit Atari emulator, thanks to which, on a computer with the Windows operating system, we will launch classic games available exclusively on Atari. The emulator has an internal core, allowing you to run selected games or programs without the need to install ROMs, the manufacturer does not recommend using this solution. He explains that the internal kernel implemented here has been written from scratch, so compatibility issues may occur. The emulator supports disk images saved in the following formats: ATR, DCM, ATX and PRO. You can also make use of Atari (.obx/.xex) executable files.
