Speccy emulates 16kB, 48kB, and 128kB versions of Sinclair ZX Spectrum, as well as Spectrum +2, +2A, and +3, as well as Timex Sinclair models. fMSX is a program that emulates MSX, MSX2, and MSX2+ 8bit home computers. It runs MSX/MSX2/MSX2+ software on many different platforms including Windows, Android, Symbian, MacOS, Unix, MSDOS, AmigaOS, etc. I started developing fMSX in 1993 when there were only two other MSX emulators available, both exclusively for MSDOS. From the very beginning, I developed fMSX as a portable program able to run on many different computers. The initial development, for example, was done on DEC Alpha workstations running Unix. Since then, fMSX has seen quite a lot of updates and been ported to many systems. It is still being developed, although not as actively as before because most features are pretty much complete now.

WinUAE is a 32-, 64-bit Windows version (XP/Vista/7/8/10) of the UAE Amiga Emulator. UAE is the collaborative effort of a number of Amiga enthusiasts to create a portable Amiga emulator under the GNU Public License.

The new SEGI SATURN - NOVA emulator (in the first non-public versions the project was called Kronos) by Steve Kwok gained a new version.

Virtual GameBoy Advance (VGBA) emulates Nintendo's GameBoy Advance handheld videogame console. VGBA can run most commercial GameBoy Advance software on a desktop, palmtop, or any sufficiently fast computing device. It will also run correctly written homebrewn software.

Snes9x is a portable, freeware Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) emulator. It basically allows you to play most games designed for the SNES and Super Famicom Nintendo game systems on your PC or Workstation; which includes some real gems that were only ever released in Japan. TestBuild versions are draft versions - allow you to evaluate the progress of the code between the next official editions of this great Super Nintendo emulator (of course, those who appreciate the super accuracy should reach Higan and other projects based on the Bsnes code by Byu).
