WinUAE is a 32-, 64-bit Windows version (XP/Vista/7/8/10) of the UAE Amiga Emulator. UAE is the collaborative effort of a number of Amiga enthusiasts to create a portable Amiga emulator under the GNU Public License.

AppleWin (also known as Apple //e Emulator for Windows) is an open source software emulator. AppleWin was originally written by Mike O'Brien in 1994;[2] O'Brien himself announced an early version of the emulator in 1995, development of AppleWin passed to Oliver Schmidt and is now maintained by Tom Charlesworth. BizHawk is a A multi-system emulator written in C#. BizHawk provides nice features for casual gamers such as full screen, and joypad support in addition to full rerecording and debugging tools for all system cores.

QuickPlay is a windows-only powerful universal emulator 'frontend-of-frontends', which has support for countless emulators and systems, old and new, with a philosophy of being quick and easy for new users, yet comprehensive and flexible for old-timers. It was written in the heyday of RAD and OO frontends (as such it's written in Delphi), and like other frontends of the time, its very powerful and able to support considerable complexity and customisation (think MAMEUI, but on steroids). However unlike many other frontends of the time, its also very flexible and adaptable, and still updated by enthusiastic supporters. It takes a fresh approach to the backend which, in particular, gives blisteringly-fast search over large and diverse romsets.

Steem SSE is a new version of Steem based on that source release. It incorporates new features and emulation improvements, some of them based on the Hatari  and SainT emulators (this "emulation" goes both ways), some on various internet discussions technical documentation, like chip datasheets, and  tests on real hardware. Tom Walker, the author of a whole body of emulators (Arculator, B-em, CPC, Elkulator, ReasonableGBA, RPCemu, SNEM, YAAME, ZX82) updated the code of his emulator of old PC class XT / AT / 286/486 including such "exotic" as Sinclair PC200, Commodore PC30-III or Amstrad MegaPC.

Altirra is an 8-bit Atari emulator, thanks to which, on a computer with the Windows operating system, we will launch classic games available exclusively on Atari. The emulator has an internal core, allowing you to run selected games or programs without the need to install ROMs, the manufacturer does not recommend using this solution. He explains that the internal kernel implemented here has been written from scratch, so compatibility issues may occur. The emulator supports disk images saved in the following formats: ATR, DCM, ATX and PRO. You can also make use of Atari (.obx/.xex) executable files.

Xpeccy is a Linux emulator for machines compatible with ZX Spectrum (primarily Russian clones) and several versions of the machine MSX1, Nintendo GameBoy / GameBoy Color and NINTENDO 8 and its Russian counterpart Dendy.
