Snes9x is a portable, freeware Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) emulator. It basically allows you to play most games designed for the SNES and Super Famicom Nintendo game systems on your PC or Workstation; which includes some real gems that were only ever released in Japan. TestBuild versions are draft versions - allow you to evaluate the progress of the code between the next official editions of this great Super Nintendo emulator (of course, those who appreciate the super accuracy should reach Higan and other projects based on the Bsnes code by Byu).

Steem SSE is a new version of Steem based on that source release. It incorporates new features and emulation improvements, some of them based on the Hatari  and SainT emulators (this "emulation" goes both ways), some on various internet discussions technical documentation, like chip datasheets, and  tests on real hardware. Steem SSE aims to be the #1 STF/STE emulator. There's no limitation in the original Steem code structure (in C++) that would make that goal unreachable. 'SSE' stands for 'Steven Seagal Edition'. Steven Seagal is a well known Aikido grandmaster, action movie star, musician and playboy. It is rumoured he has a shadowy past working for some secret agencies.  

This program attempts to reproduce, more or less accurately, the operation of the TI99/4A Home Computer.  The TI-99/4A was not a calculator, as many people think when they hear the numbers. Indeed, it was a full-fledged home computer. At the time, the term “home computer” was slightly differentiated from “personal computer”. Usually the “home” computer was a less expensive machine, with less of a business aspect. Home computers usually connected to a television set rather than a dedicated monitor, as well.  TI aggressively targeted education, and in part due to this, the TI-99/4A made inroads into elementary schools across the United States, which contributed to a high estimation of 35% of the US home computer market, with roughly 2.8 million consoles sold. Xpeccy is a Linux emulator for machines compatible with ZX Spectrum (primarily Russian clones) and several versions of the machine MSX1, Nintendo GameBoy / GameBoy Color and NINTENDO 8 and its Russian counterpart Dendy. Emulator requires QT library, if we want to run it under Windows, and in return the program offers a few curiosities, for which it is worth to look at it.

Emulator Amstrad CPC that is created by Frederic Coste which is in beta phase and from which a pre-release has been launched so that people can start to test their functionalities. The basic and most interesting functions that this emulator allows are the emulation of several Amstrad models (464,664 and 6128) with the QWERTY (English) and AZERTY (French) keyboards, the possibility of using 64kb of expanded memory in the 464 and 664, Use of OpenGL and emulation of the original discs thanks to the built-in FDC.
