Stella, emulator konsol ATARI 2600, został poprawiony w swojej funkcjonalności. Kosmetyka ale nader istotna. Stella v3.2.2 changelog: Fixed bug with window centering; if enabled and the the window was larger than the desktop, the window would be moved offscreen.

Stella to emulatorem konsolki ATARI 2600 pod większość systemów operacyjnych. Po paru dniach, kolejna wersja: Stella v3.2.1 changelog: - Improved behaviour of joystick 'hat' movement. This should fix bugs most visible in Yars' Revenge. - Fixed bug in debugger rewind states; bankswitching wasn't being performed during the rewind. Related to this, fixed a similar issue with the debugger 'loadstate' and 'savestate' commands. - Added game properties info for the newly released 'Halo 2600' ROM. Do ściągniecia: Stella (windows), Stella (windows 64bit) i pozostałe dystrybucje (MacOs, Linux)

Stella to emulatorem konsolki ATARI 2600 pod większość systemów operacyjnych. Pomimo sentymentu do Atarynki, nigdy nie byłem zachwycony możliwościami tej zabawki, dopiero 5600 była już "prawie" znośna. NOTE: because of the many event-related changes in this release, all event mapping should be reset to defaults after starting Stella for the first time. As well, because of other internal changes, older save-state files are no longer valid. Many improvements to joystick handling code, particularly for analog axes. Navigating the UI should be much smoother now, and remapping events to analog axes should be less 'twitchy'. Added ability to assign and remap 'combo' events in emulation mode. Serwis Atari 2600 Nexus opublikował kolejnego białego kruka dla tej konsolki - prototyp Stunt Cycle Races [ta gra nigdy nie trafiła na rynek]. Oczywiście najlepiej emuluje się Atari 2600 pod Stellą.X [na jeźdzca?;)].

Fani młodszej siostry Atari 7800 - A2600 też nie powinni mieć powodów do narzekań, autor StelliX uaktualnił swój emulator do 1.1.3a. Stella udaje pod windowsami konsole ATARI 2600, hmmm... zaprawdę dziwne gry były na tą zabawkę [najczęściej z pokolorowaną grafiką rodem z Ponga;)], ale jeżeli ktoś odczuwa sentyment do A2600 to StellaX napewno go zadowoli. Gopher2600 is an emulator for the Atari 2600 written in the Go language. The accuracy of the emulation is very high and the 6507, TIA and RIOT chips appear to operate without bugs. Certainly, there are no known outstanding issues with any of the emulated chips. It compares favourably with Stella except for speed and final project polish.
