Xpeccy is a Linux emulator for machines compatible with ZX Spectrum (primarily Russian clones) and several versions of the machine MSX1, Nintendo GameBoy / GameBoy Color and NINTENDO 8 and its Russian counterpart Dendy. Emulator requires QT library, if we want to run it under Windows, and in return the program offers a few curiosities, for which it is worth to look at it.

This program attempts to reproduce, more or less accurately, the operation of the TI99/4A Home Computer.  The TI-99/4A was not a calculator, as many people think when they hear the numbers. Indeed, it was a full-fledged home computer. At the time, the term “home computer” was slightly differentiated from “personal computer”. Usually the “home” computer was a less expensive machine, with less of a business aspect. Home computers usually connected to a television set rather than a dedicated monitor, as well.  TI aggressively targeted education, and in part due to this, the TI-99/4A made inroads into elementary schools across the United States, which contributed to a high estimation of 35% of the US home computer market, with roughly 2.8 million consoles sold. Cemu is the first eighth generation console emulator in the world, specifically the Nintendo Wii U. The requirements are big - at least efficient Core i5 and 6 GB RAM, Nvidia graphics card or AMD with support for OpenGL 4.0 (and if possible, OpenGL 4.5), 64- Windows bit (7, 8.1 or 10). In return, we get the ability to run games smoothly even in 4K resolution (although it is better to have 1080 Ti). Also DRC (GamePad), Pro Controller and Classic Controller controllers are emulated, the keyboard and USB controllers are partially supported.

MAME's purpose is to preserve decades of software history. As electronic technology continues to rush forward, MAME prevents this important "vintage" software from being lost and forgotten. This is achieved by documenting the hardware and how it functions. The source code to MAME serves as this documentation. The fact that the software is usable serves primarily to validate the accuracy of the documentation (how else can you prove that you have recreated the hardware faithfully?). Over time, MAME (originally stood for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator) absorbed the sister-project MESS (Multi Emulator Super System), so MAME now documents a wide variety of (mostly vintage) computers, video game consoles and calculators, in addition to the arcade video games that were its initial focus.

ARCADE is a continuation of the MAMEUIFX project. It is based on the latest MAME source at the time of release.

Emulator Amstrad CPC that is created by Frederic Coste which is in beta phase and from which a pre-release has been launched so that people can start to test their functionalities. The basic and most interesting functions that this emulator allows are the emulation of several Amstrad models (464,664 and 6128) with the QWERTY (English) and AZERTY (French) keyboards, the possibility of using 64kb of expanded memory in the 464 and 664, Use of OpenGL and emulation of the original discs thanks to the built-in FDC.

Steem SSE is a new version of Steem based on that source release. It incorporates new features and emulation improvements, some of them based on the Hatari  and SainT emulators (this "emulation" goes both ways), some on various internet discussions technical documentation, like chip datasheets, and  tests on real hardware. Steem SSE aims to be the #1 STF/STE emulator. There's no limitation in the original Steem code structure (in C++) that would make that goal unreachable. 'SSE' stands for 'Steven Seagal Edition'. Steven Seagal is a well known Aikido grandmaster, action movie star, musician and playboy. It is rumoured he has a shadowy past working for some secret agencies.  

ZEsarux is another multimulator of Sir Clive's machines - we can find practically all models from ZX80, through traditional Sinclair Spectrum models, including those that have already appeared with the Amstrad logo, to the exotic Z88 Cambridge, if not for the lack of QL to say that he emulates everything from this family. Currently, he also manages the Sam Coupe machine or CPC464 (I will not mention other exotics - hence the feature in development). Author also adds Spectrum QL emulation. Emulator, by Cesar Hernandez (this is his second project, after ZXSpectr) was created for Unix, but in time he also made a version for Windows - looking at the list of possibilities, it's quite an interesting harvester, which is worth having at hand if you need all-in - with a rainbow on board - at least it gives me some problems, but what can be liked.
