ARCADE is a continuation of the MAMEUIFX project. It is based on the latest MAME source at the time of release.

MAME's purpose is to preserve decades of software history. As electronic technology continues to rush forward, MAME prevents this important "vintage" software from being lost and forgotten. This is achieved by documenting the hardware and how it functions. The source code to MAME serves as this documentation. The fact that the software is usable serves primarily to validate the accuracy of the documentation (how else can you prove that you have recreated the hardware faithfully?). Over time, MAME (originally stood for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator) absorbed the sister-project MESS (Multi Emulator Super System), so MAME now documents a wide variety of (mostly vintage) computers, video game consoles and calculators, in addition to the arcade video games that were its initial focus.

Altirra is an 8-bit Atari emulator, thanks to which, on a computer with the Windows operating system, we will launch classic games available exclusively on Atari. The emulator has an internal core, allowing you to run selected games or programs without the need to install ROMs, the manufacturer does not recommend using this solution. He explains that the internal kernel implemented here has been written from scratch, so compatibility issues may occur. The emulator supports disk images saved in the following formats: ATR, DCM, ATX and PRO. You can also make use of Atari (.obx/.xex) executable files.

Emulicious is a free to use multi-system emulator for Windows, Linux, Mac OS(X) and any other operating system supporting Java SE. Emulicious consists of the following emulators: A Nintendo Game Boy Emulator, A Nintendo Game Boy Color Emulator, A Sega Master System Emulator, A Sega Game Gear Emulator. Even though Emulicious aims for precision and cycle accurate emulation it still provides some additional features and tools: Automatic Updates,  Adjustable Turbo,  Adjustable Throttle,  IPS Patching and Savestates (Master System/Game Gear only)

AppleWin (also known as Apple //e Emulator for Windows) is an open source software emulator. AppleWin was originally written by Mike O'Brien in 1994;[2] O'Brien himself announced an early version of the emulator in 1995, development of AppleWin passed to Oliver Schmidt and is now maintained by Tom Charlesworth. AppleWin has support for most programs that could run either on the Apple II+ or the Apple IIe. By default, AppleWin emulates the Extended Keyboard IIe (better known as the Platinum IIe) with built-in 80-column text support, 128 kilobytes of RAM, two 5¼-inch floppy disk drives, a joystick, a serial card and 65C02 CPU. ZEsarux is another multimulator of Sir Clive's machines - we can find practically all models from ZX80, through traditional Sinclair Spectrum models, including those that have already appeared with the Amstrad logo, to the exotic Z88 Cambridge, if not for the lack of QL to say that he emulates everything from this family. Currently, he also manages the Sam Coupe machine or CPC464 (I will not mention other exotics - hence the feature in development). Author also adds Spectrum QL emulation. Emulator, by Cesar Hernandez (this is his second project, after ZXSpectr) was created for Unix, but in time he also made a version for Windows - looking at the list of possibilities, it's quite an interesting harvester, which is worth having at hand if you need all-in - with a rainbow on board - at least it gives me some problems, but what can be liked.

Raine (for Rainbow Islands Emulator) is an arcade multiemulator, it can handle games from CPS systems, Taito, Jaleco and it's run titles from NeoGeoCD (in last year project raine and neoraine was combined in one application).

Steem SSE is a new version of Steem based on that source release. It incorporates new features and emulation improvements, some of them based on the Hatari  and SainT emulators (this "emulation" goes both ways), some on various internet discussions technical documentation, like chip datasheets, and  tests on real hardware. Steem SSE aims to be the #1 STF/STE emulator. There's no limitation in the original Steem code structure (in C++) that would make that goal unreachable. 'SSE' stands for 'Steven Seagal Edition'. Steven Seagal is a well known Aikido grandmaster, action movie star, musician and playboy. It is rumoured he has a shadowy past working for some secret agencies.
