Oprócz prac nad Duos (emulator NINTENDO DS) Roor Makurosu postanowił odkurzyć swój starszy projekt - adrPSX, który pozwoli nam powrócić do gier dla Sony Playstation I. Nowa wersja znacząco różni się od ostatniej oficjalnej wersji tego programu - autor zrezygnował z tradycyjnego już dla emulatorów PSX systemu wtyczek, integrując wszystko w jeden moduł (podobne rozwiązanie zastosowano w PSXjin, z tym, że tam zastosowano jeden z pluginów PETE). Przepisano także emulację GTE i poprawiono współpracę programu z Windows 7. Niestety trudno mi powiedzieć, jak program sprawuje się w praktyce - emulator w obecnej wersji nie pozwala na obsługę plików ISO i złośliwie nie chce też korzystać z mojego CD (ale to już moja wina;P).

Twórca AdriPSX - Roor Makurosu opublikował emulator Nintendo DS - Duos. Pierwsza publiczna beta całkiem nieźle radzi sobie z komercyjnymi tytułami i pozwala na zapis stanu gry, czy też redefiniowania skrótów klawiszowych. Emulator nie jest jeszcze obudowany w dodatkowe funkcje, do których przyzwyczaił nas np. Desmuse, jednak i tak warto zerknąć. Autor prosi o feedback z pracy programu.

Od dłuższego czasu w repozytorium pcsx2 - najlepszego w chwili obecnej emulatora konsoli Sony Playstation II, pojawiła się odnoga z numerkiem 1.0.0. Ba, jest nawet taki serwis, który ogłosił wersję 1 za nim pojawiły się finalne jej elementy:). Jak widać team pracujący na PCSX2 w końcu stwierdził, iż poprawki jakie zostały naniesione na mechanizm są na tyle dopracowane aby w końcu ogłosić chyba najważniejszą dla programu pełną wersję 1.0.0. Ci, którzy na bieżąco sprawdzali kompilację emulatora nie będą zaskoczeni zmianami, dla tych, którzy uparcie trzymają się pełnych, oficjalnych wersji - polecam sięgnąć po 1.0.0 - jest spory postęp w jakości emulacji pomiędzy zeszłorocznym 0.9.8 a obecną wersją. Nowa poprawka dla emulatora SONY PLAYSTATION - PCSXR. Tym razem dodano poprawkę autorstwa dokuganryu, która uwalnia nas od zamykania i ponownego odpalania emulatora gdy chcemy np. zmienić wtyczkę, co prawda musi przerwać działanie emulatora (nie ma możliwości zmian w "locie"), jednak i tak jest to wygodne rozwiązanie. Zamknięcie procesu emulacji następuje po wybraniu Emulator->Shoutdown.

Pokopom is a pad plugin that emulates a DualShock1 and DualShock2 controller for PS1 and PS2 emulators, DreamCast (nullDC) & N64. It only uses XInput, so as to avoid the DirectInput troubles with X360 controllers. It currently has only some basic configuration dialog, and defaults to use the first and second XInput controllers as pad1 and pad2 respectively. The plugin supports rumble with a nice custom curve, and has extended analog stick range to cover the 'square' on PSX's controllers.

Pojawiło się kompletne spolszczenie jednego z najpopularniejszych emulatorów SONY PLAYSTATION - ePSXe, oprócz samego programu, otrzymujemy również przetłumaczony plik pomocy a także zestaw wtyczek z serii P.E.Op.S., co może się przydać jeśli korzystamy z tych pluginów pod pozostałymi emulatorami PSX. Za tłumaczenie są odpowiedzialni - GreenMag, ikskoks (zestaw tłumaczeń m.in. MediEvil, Spyro), Browar (tłumaczenie Final Fantasy VII)

PCSX2 jest jedynym emulatorem SONY PLAYSTATION II, który z powodzeniem pozwala pograć w gry, które oferuje oryginalna konsola. Poniższe publikowane wersje są zapisem prac na kodem tego emulatora i wszystkie one mają status deweloperski, co znaczy, że należy liczyć się z problemami - czasami mniejszymi, czasami większymi. Ostatnia oficjalna wersja nosi numer 0.9.8 i można ją ściągnąć np. stąd lub ze strony domowej projektu. Pliki pochodzą z oficjalnego BOTa projektu z serwisu ORPHIS.
