Ukazała się nowa beta francuskiego frontendu FTX3 który wzorowany na interfejsie SONY pozwala nam oprócz obsługi emulatorów (ponad 40 emulowanych platform, w tym także MAME) pozwala także przeglądać obrazki i odtwarzać filmy i pliki mp3.  Jednym słowem, potężna multimedialna kobyła, którą naprawdę warto przynajmniej przetestować, dodatkowym atutem FTX3 jest automatyczny download biosów dla obsługiwanych platform. Program wymaga posiadania pada i to najlepiej pada zgodnego z rozwiązaniami Sony.

[PSX] Pokopom Xinput Pad Plugin v2.0 r102
Pokopom is a pad plugin that emulates a DualShock1 and DualShock2 controller for PS1 and PS2 emulators, DreamCast (nullDC) & N64. It only uses XInput, so as  to avoid the DirectInput troubles with X360 controllers. It currently has only some basic configuration dialog, and defaults to use the first and second XInput controllers as pad1 and pad2 respectively.  The plugin supports rumble with a nice custom curve, and has extended analog stick range to cover the 'square' on PSX's controllers.

PPSSPP jest kolejnym młodym projektem emulatora Sony PSP, napisanym w C++ przez jednego ze współautorów emulatora Dolphin udającego konsolę Nintendo Wii/GameCube Henrika Rydgarda, jednak od wczoraj zyskał on, podobnie jak Dolphin status open source i każdy może korzystać z repozytorium na  githubie. Powoli projekt nabywa rumieńców aczkolwiek jeszcze trochę poczekamy na w pełni zadowalającą emulację.

Yet Another PSX Emulator to młody projekt autorstwa ryana hacketta pozwalający, w zamierzeniu, odkurzyć półkę z grami dla SONY Playstation I. W bliżej nieokreślonej przyszłości być może dorówna on innym emulatorom tej konsoli, a póki co odpala bios. Głównym powodem upublicznienia kodu jest ewentualność, że ktoś jeszcze oprócz autora zajmie się jego rozwojem - warto śledzić, nawet po to, aby śledzić krok po kroku powstawanie tej aplikacji. Jak widać, po datach w changelogu, projekt już od dłuższego czasu nie był aktualizowany, może dzięki kitajcowi, który go skąś wyskrobał, coś się ruszy.
