Pojawił się nowy Mednafen, więc siłą rzeczy SpeedVicio opracował swieżą wersję MedGUI - bardzo wygodnego interfejsu dla multiemulatora Mednafen, który sam w sobie jest raczej mało przyjazny w konfiguracji. Mednafen pozwala z naprawdę dobrymi efektami emulować platformy Atari Lynx, Game Boy (Color), Game Boy Advance, NES, PC Engine (TurboGrafx 16), SuperGrafx, Neo Geo Pocket (Color), PC-FX, i WonderSwan (Color), a także SONY Playstation.

Nowa poprawka dla emulatora Sony PLAYSTATION - PCSX ReLoaded. Co prawda, większość prac związanych jest z portem pod MacOS i ostatnio pojawiły się także zmiany pod bibliotekę GTK (linuks, na siłę także Win, tylko po co;P). Bardzo rzadko poprawki w kodzie dotyczą wersji pod Windowsy - można je traktować jako wypadki przy pracy;).

Pojawiła się kolejna aktualizacja pakietu "EmuCenter", zestawu emulatorów udających konsole Nintendo - Nes,SNES, GB, N64, GC, DS and Wii; Segę: SMS, SMD, GG, Saturn i DC, Sony :PS1/2 a także PSP; Neogeo i systemy arcade (Capcom CPS, CPS3, Taito, Sega model 2, Arcade LaserDisc) a także Turbographx.

JPCSP w sumie jako jedyny radzi sobie z komercyjnymi tytułami dla SONY PLAYSTATION PORTABLE, co prawda pracuję w javie i nie wszystko jeszcze działa jak powinno ale jego rozwój jest odczuwalny. Poniższe publikowane wersje są zapisem prac na kodem tego emulatora i wszystkie one mają status deweloperski, co znaczy, że należy liczyć się z problemami - czasami mniejszymi, czasami większymi. Ostatnia oficjalna wersja nosi numer 0.9.8 i można ją ściągnąć ze strony domowej projektu. Pliki pochodzą z oficjalnego BOTa projektu z serwisu ORPHIS.

Pokopom is a pad plugin that emulates a DualShock1 and DualShock2 controller for PS1 and PS2 emulators, DreamCast (nullDC) & N64. It only uses XInput, so as to avoid the DirectInput troubles with X360 controllers. It currently has only some basic configuration dialog, and defaults to use the first and second XInput controllers as pad1 and pad2 respectively. The plugin supports rumble with a nice custom curve, and has extended analog stick range to cover the 'square' on PSX's controllers.

Skoro w bieżącym roku pojawiła się informacja o luźno powiązanym z marką Microsoft x360ce, wypada również wspomnieć o analogicznym projekcie tworzonym z myślą o produktach Sony. Motionjoy to, nie mniej, nie więcej, mocno rozbudowany sterownik kontrolerów PlayStation 3 dla platformy PC. Celowo użyłem określenia kontrolerów, gdyż prócz standardowych gamepadów DualShock3/SIXAXIS, motionjoy umożliwia również przewodowe (USB) i bezprzewodowe (BT) podpięcie dedykowanego pilota PS3 i rozpoznające ruch PS Move.
